Glad my post has helped your thinking....Hi Vivian,

Glad my post has helped your thinking. Whilst re-evaluating my own PLE and learning how to get the best out of the tools at my disposal I have started filling in the blanks for my own PLE and will post at some point soon. Since the post i have decided to include a 'creativity' section in the home area.

unfortunately i have had to focus hard on other priorities in last couple of weeks and have missed the last few weeks interactions.

to function effectively in a MOOC, ideally I believe you need to 1)allow sufficient time to read and then 2)blog and 3) be proactive in interacting with others.

Lurking is ok if you don't have time, but contributing and interacting are the key to developing an effective PLE/PLN.

I don't feel too feel too good when i cannot contribute regularly but i have had to tell myself it's ok to lurk and take some of the personal pressure to contribute off. Maybe i should participate more in the forums, but i prefer blogging and reading other blogs.

hope you are continuing to enjoy the course

SteveSteve Mackenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13773778141513293168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31503777.post-37562023565110904862010-10-15T14:31:58.538+00:002010-10-15T14:31:58.538+00:00Hi Steve, I've been lost in the PLE/PLN world ...Hi Steve, I've been lost in the PLE/PLN world for a couple of weeks now, trying to get a handle on how to approach the topic. Your grasp of the fundamental questions expresses exactly what I've been trying to formulate. Obviously, I have a ways to go in the organization department. Thank you for your insights!
